Version 2.2 · effective 8 August 2026

Accessibility Statement

We want Sapienbase to be usable by as many people as possible, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or reduced-motion settings. This statement describes what we do today, what we know is not yet perfect, and how to reach us if something blocks you.

1. Our target

We aim to align the Sapienbase website and reader with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. We treat this as an ongoing target rather than a completed certification, and we consider accessibility when adding new features.

2. What we implement today

  • Semantic HTML structure with a single main heading per page and labelled landmarks.
  • Keyboard operability for navigation, menus, dialogs and the ebook reader.
  • Visible focus states and skip-to-content behaviour on primary layouts.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images and icons.
  • Responsive layouts that reflow down to small screens and support browser zoom.
  • Respect for the operating-system "reduced motion" preference in animations.
  • Text content that can be selected, resized and read by assistive technology, rather than being locked inside images.

3. Known limitations

  • Some legacy marketing pages use decorative animation and dense typographic layouts that have lower contrast than our current standard.
  • Some charts, diagrams and comparison blocks convey information visually and may need a text summary; we are adding these progressively.
  • Third-party components we embed (for example the payment form) follow the provider's own accessibility implementation, which we do not control.
  • Video and audio material may not yet have full captions or transcripts.

4. Alternative formats and assistance

If a purchased product is not accessible to you, email support@sapienbase.com with your order number and the barrier you hit. Where reasonably possible we will supply the content in an alternative accessible format at no extra cost, or refund the affected order if we cannot make it usable for you — regardless of the standard final-sale rule in our Refund Policy.

5. Feedback and response times

Accessibility feedback goes to accessibility@sapienbase.com. We aim to acknowledge within 5 business days and to describe a remediation plan or workaround. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to legal@sapienbase.com.
